AUTO - Suspension & Steering System Service - 00001587

Description: This course covers the operational theory and repair of automotive suspension and steering systems. Two-wheel and four-wheel alignment theory, on-vehicle processes, and adjustments will be addressed. Theory and service procedures for front and rear suspension systems will be covered, as well as manual, power, and steering linkage systems. Lab experiences will provide an opportunity to service and align the suspensions of a variety of vehicles. (Prerequisites: None) (Co-requisites: AUTO 1010, AUTO 1167, and AUTO 2155 or Instructor approval)
