Description: This course will survey a variety of technological advances that affect human behavior. It will focus on a critical analysis of the psychological and ethical implications of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, social networking, and technologies that affect psychological, physical and cognitive development. Meets Minnesota Transfer Curriculum goal 5 (History and the Social/Behavioral Science) (Prerequisites: PSYC1405 or PSYC1505, Keyboarding and basic computer skills recommended.) (4 lecture credits)
