Description: This course analyzes the theories, methods, and strategies associated with English composition, and the communication of these principles in the mentoring process. Topics covered will include current writing process theory; global and local revision strategies; various genres of writing; the MLA and APA documentation systems; different styles of learning; and a variety of tutoring methods. The course is designed to enhance students writing, listening, speaking, assessment, and collaboration skills.
