ADSC - Applied Medical Terminology for Scribing - 00171631

Description: This course covers word analysis, spelling, pronunciation, and usage of word roots, prefixes, suffixes, and abbreviations common to the medical profession. Emphasis will be placed on diagnosis, procedure, pharmaceutical, and laboratory terms. Medical terminology will be applied to the human body system and reviewed by practicing real-time scribing of medical records from dictation into the electronic health record. (Prerequisites:HITM1110 or HLTH1040)
