Foundation welcomes new board members

The Anoka Technical College Foundation recently welcomed three new members to their board of directors: Jody O’Neil, Tina Robinson and Sarah Sanborn.

O’Neill, currently Senior Human Resources Director with Cretex Companies, a diversified group of manufacturing companies, also has experience in medical device, healthcare, training and development industries.  She holds a master’s of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and Communication from the Concordia University, St. Paul.  She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification.

Tina Robinson, currently a Value Stream Manager at Pentair, has also worked with Target Corporation and the Ford Motor Company.  Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and an executive master’s of Business Administration from St. Thomas University.  She has also participated in the Leadership Academy offered through the Professional and Workforce Training division of Anoka Technical College and Anoka Ramsey Community College. 

Sarah Sanborn, currently a Human Resources Business Partner with Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota, has 25 years of experience as a strategic business partner, leader in talent management, learning and development, training, employee relations and performance management.  Her experience has been utilized in a variety of industries including retail, pharmacy, technology development and consumer assistance and health care. Sanborn holds a master of arts in Organizational Leadership.

The foundation also elected Verne McPherson, Tolerance Master CEO, as president and Michael Scholl, Northeast Bank President, as the foundation’s vice president.

The Anoka Technical College Foundation was established in 1987 to provide support to deserving Anoka Technical College students and college programs. Since 1995, through the generosity of donors, the foundation has provided more than $2,000,000 to support students and college programs.
