Tuition at Anoka Technical College Frozen for Two Years

Tuition for students attending Anoka Technical College will stay at the current rates for the next two years.

Full-time students at Anoka Technical College will pay an average of $5,010 for tuition beginning this fall. Students in certain programs pay slightly more to cover higher costs associated with those programs. General fees will decrease by $22 to $557 a year for full-time students. Part-time students pay a per-credit hour share of annual tuition and fees.

“We know that keeping tuition affordable is critically important for our students,” said Mary Jacobson, the college’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “At the same time, we work hard to manage expenses so our innovative career and technical education help our students and communities live and learn well.”

In 2012-2013, about 83 percent of the college’s students received financial aid, averaging $11,892, to pay their education and living expenses. Financial aid includes state and national grants, scholarships, loans and work-study funds.
