Court Reporting Week Feb 11 - 18
In recognition of the National Court Reporting and Captioning week, Feb. 11 – 18, Anoka Technical College is hosting an exhibition to highlight the career field and to celebrate the growing numbers of employment opportunities.

Free and open to the public.
The public is encouraged to attend the event for a few minutes or the entire evening. Friends and family who are interested in lucrative, high-demand career are also welcomed.
Attendees can meetlocal court reporting and captioning professionals and graduates, and see demonstrations of leading technology used in courtrooms or ADA accommodation through real-time demonstrations. There will also be refreshments and pizza.
“Court reporters and captioners are vital contributors to our legal system” said Jennifer Sati, Anoka Technical College Judicial Reporting program instructor and event organizer. “There is an increasing demand for qualified people in the field. I hope many people will join us to learn more about the great careers available in this field.”

The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), the country’s leading organization representing stenographic court reporters, broadcast and CART captioners, and legal videographers, has designated Feb. 11 - 18 as the 2019 National Court Reporting and Captioning Week. The week-long event is designed to celebrate the court reporting and captioning professions and to help raise public awareness about the growing number of employment opportunities the career offers.
