College hosts OTA Information Session April 11
Anoka Technical College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program will host an Occupational Therapy Assistant Information Session from 2 to 4 pm, on Tuesday, April 11.

The information session will provide details about the two-year degree program and offer information about the career of occupational therapy assistant. Anoka Tech has also extended the application period for the program until Tuesday, April 11. The college will accept new applications following the information session.
“The Occupational Therapy Assistant information sessions are designed to help potential students learn more about the profession, what occupational therapy assistants do and the educational process at Anoka Technical College,” said Barb Kloetzke, OTA Director at Anoka Tech. “The session allows students to make an informed decision about a future career in OTA and find out if it’s right for them.”
Students wishing to start the OTA program in the 2017 Fall Semester must attend an information session prior to applying to the program. No pre-registration for the session is necessary.
Orientation for the program will be held from 3 to 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 27, at Anoka Tech. Students accepted into the program must attend OTA Orientation prior to the start of Fall Semester.
