High school seniors, returning college students, and adults looking to shift careers can all find answers to their education and career-planning questions at Anoka Technical College’s Open House, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This event presents a great opportunity to visit the college and learn about the more than 35 degree, diploma and certificate programs in areas such:
Automotive, Accounting, Administrative Specialist, Health Information Technology, Judicial Reporting, Legal Administrative Assistant, Logistics, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Coding Specialist, Supervisory Management, Human Resource, Supervisory Leadership, Community Social Services, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Golf Course Grounds Management, Landscape Technology, Information Technology, Architecture and Construction, Construction Estimating, Construction Electrician, Electronic Engineering Technology, Machine Trades, CNC Manufacturing Technology, CAD Drafting, Welding and more.
Adults may be surprised to learn about the flexible options the college offers, including online and evening courses. Attendees will have a chance to tour the campus, visit with program faculty and learn about applying and how to pay for college.
No advance reservations are needed to attend this free event.
“We want people to visit the college,” said Interim Dean of Student Life and Admission Director, LeAnn Brown. “It is a good opportunity for people to talk directly to the program faculty members and determine the right program choice. It is also a wonderful way to find out all that is offered here at the college.”
