Course registration is open for fall semester

Open registration has begun for Anoka Technical College’s 2017 fall semester.

Anoka Tech has more than 80 in-demand programs available, offering many flexible options for earning a degree including online and evening courses.

The college recently launched a new Business Data Technician Degree, which is a fast-growing career field that is in high demand for skilled professionals.

All new students must attend an orientation session prior to registering for classes. During orientation students will learn about campus resources, campus technology, receive academic advising and register for classes. There are multiple orientation options available to accommodate the busy schedules of prospective students. There are set dates and times for orientation for students who have already taken the ACT or Accuplacer exam, and wish to sign up.

There are also One Stop dates and times that are available to students without any advance registration necessary. Students will be able to take course placement tests, apply to a program and register for classes during these sessions.

Visit Anoka Tech’s Admission Checklist at AnokaTech.edu/BecomeStudent/Admissions/Checklist.aspx for a list of requirements that must be completed in order to attend classes.

“It’s important to plan ahead and register early for college classes,” said LeAnna Wangerin, Director of Enrollment Services at Anoka Tech. “Students who register early at Anoka Tech have the opportunity to choose their classes while there are still plenty of sections still available. Registering early also gives students the opportunity to work through any barriers that might come up. When choosing their classes early, students have the flexibility to adjust their schedule well before classes begin.”
