Welcoming fall with hands-on education and more flexible, safe options for students
Fall registration at Anoka Technical College is right around the corner and the college is prepared to welcome students as they seek hands-on, safe learning opportunities that lead to futures in careers in demand.
“Since the start of the pandemic, Anoka Tech has continued to offer hands-on training prioritizing safety,” says President Kent Hanson. “I am proud of the care and innovation exercised by our college community and I am excited to carry what we’ve learned over the last year forward to offer even more flexible, accessible options for students.”
As we prepare for the new academic year, here’s what you need to know.
Continue Safe Operations
Anoka Tech will continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for individuals on campus, this will include social distancing and face coverings.

Hands-on, Flexible Learning
Classes will continue to be offered with in-person labs, some online and hybrid delivery methods. Learn more about the course delivery methods available to help you select courses here.
Support Student Success
As the academic schedule is finalized, Anoka Tech will also review the student services plan to identify which services will continue to be offered remotely and which services may also return to campus to best support student success. This will include a gradual return of some campus life activities and dining options.
Registration for summer is open now and Fall registration begins for current students April 5 and all students April 9.
