Anoka Technical College Celebrates the Class of 2019 at Fall Commencement Ceremony

On Thursday, Dec. 19, Anoka Technical College celebrated the achievements of 212 graduates representing 20 different programs at the 2019 fall commencement ceremony.

Graduates gathered for the ceremony at Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Gymnasium where they were greeted by representatives from Anoka Tech’s leadership team, faculty and a representative from the Minnesota State Board of Trustees.

“We have learned that we must continually plan, organize, adapt, change, grow, problem solve and work efficiently to remain relevant within our chosen career,” said Debra Gaudreau, ’19, Health Information Technology and Medical Coding Graduate.

Each speaker acknowledged students’ hard work and commitment throughout their time at Anoka Tech as they head into the workforce. President Kent Hanson gave advice to the graduates in his remarks, saying, “I believe in being positive. Take your work, be positive with it and learn from what you are doing.”

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2019 to the alumni family. Congratulations graduates!
