College offers Occupational Therapy Assistant program information sessions, Dec. 15 and Jan. 26

Anoka Technical College’s fully accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) is hosting program information sessions Thursday, Dec. 15, 1 to 3 pm, and Thursday, Jan. 26, 4 to 6 pm.

These sessions are designed to provide answers about the program and about a career as an occupational therapy assistant.

“The Occupational Therapy Assistant information sessions are designed to help potential students learn more about the profession, what occupational therapy assistants do and the educational process at Anoka Technical College,” said Barb Kloetzke, OTA Director at Anoka Tech. “The session allows students to make an informed decision about a future career in OTA and find out if it’s right for them.”

Students wishing to start the OTA program in Fall Semester 2017 must attend one of these information sessions prior to applying to the program.

The application period begins in mid-March and is open for two weeks. Specific dates will be determined soon.
