Planning For Graduation

Are you on track to graduate? Check your Interactive Degree Audit (DARS) in your eServices.

We require all graduating students to complete a free graduation application. Have you completed yours? If not, you can find it here. When you have completed the form, please turn it into the Records Office. You will receive an email with next steps.

Anoka Technical College has formal graduation ceremonies after fall and spring semesters.

Spring Semester Commencement Ceremony

Graduation Ceremony
Graduates, please arrive at the fieldhouse at Anoka-Ramsey Community College no later than 6:15 pm. You will line up inside the fieldhouse by program.

Guests of graduates may proceed directly to the seating area inside the gym. 

Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive prior to 7 pm to be seated before the procession begins.


Free parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the building.

Special Accommodations
Special requests for reasonable accommodations for individuals with mobility issues can be requested by contacting Mary Allenson at 763-576-4094 or  Please make your request for accommodations no later than 2 pm on May 2. 

Cap and Gown
Students will purchase their cap and gown from the bookstore starting the first week of April.

You will receive an empty award cover at commencement. We will mail your certificate, diploma, or AAS degree within six weeks after graduation once we have verified that you successfully completed all graduation requirements.

You will receive an email asking you to complete a follow-up survey. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to complete the survey so we can improve what we do.

Now that you have graduated from Anoka Technical College, you automatically become a member of the Anoka Technical College Alumni Association. Click here to learn more.

Repaying Financial Aid

Financial Aid is a huge part of most students' success at Anoka Technical College. We want to make sure that you have adequate information regarding the financial aid that you are required to repay. Please review this information to become familiar with your repayment options. Make every effort to not default on your loans.

Job Placement/Career Services

The Job Placement/Career Services Office at Anoka Technical College assists students and alumni with job searches including development of cover letters, resumes, interviewing skills and networking necessary to seek internships and employment.
