Graduation

In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota State System Office, the in-person commencement ceremony scheduled for May 14, 2020, will not be held. 

Although we are unable to celebrate graduation with you on May 14, 2020, we are honoring and celebrating you and your accomplishments.

Keep your eyes open for something in your mailbox to recognize this significant milestone.

We will also be celebrating you virtually, so follow @AnokaTech on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn and continue to check your email for some fun things posted soon. Join in the celebration by tagging @AnokaTech and using #ATCGrad20 so we can share your success.

Remember to mark your calendars for the fall commencement ceremony on Thursday, December 17, 2020. *Note that holding this in-person ceremony is subject to change based on the pandemic.

Finally, be sure to keep your personal email and mailing address updated in eServices so you don’t miss any communications.

Please note: Students eligible for graduation in Spring 2020 should continue to apply for graduation by completing a graduation application and submitting it electronically to the Records Office. Select here for the graduation application. All students who fulfill the program requirements will still earn their diploma, degree or certificate. 

Planning For Graduation

Are you on track to graduate? Check your Interactive Degree Audit (DARS) in your eServices.

We require all graduating students to complete a free graduation application. Have you completed yours? If not, you can find it here. When you have completed the form, please turn it into the Records Office. You will receive an email with next steps.

Spring Semester Commencement Ceremony

After Graduation

Graduate Follow-up Survey

You will receive an email asking you to complete a follow-up survey. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to complete the survey so we can improve what we do.

Anoka Technical College Alumni

Now that you have graduated from Anoka Technical College, you automatically become a member of the Anoka Technical College Alumni Association. Click here to learn more.

Awards

You will receive an empty award cover at commencement. We will mail your certificate, diploma or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree within six weeks after graduation once we have verified that you successfully completed all graduation requirements.

Repaying Financial Aid

Financial Aid is a huge part of most students' success at Anoka Technical College. We want to make sure that you have adequate information regarding the financial aid that you are required to repay. Please review this information to become familiar with your repayment options. Make every effort to not default on your loans.

Job Placement/Career Services

The Career Services/Job Placement Office at Anoka Technical College assists students and alumni with developing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, and other job search activities.

The office is located in the Student Success Center, Rm 190F and can be reached by phone at 763- 576-7780 or by email.

Appointments are preferred, but efforts will be made to accommodate walk-ins. Find out more here.
