Mathematics Faculty, Mike Tieleman, was selected as an Outstanding Educator

Mike Tieleman, Mathematics faculty at Anoka Technical College, was selected as an Outstanding Educator at the 2024 Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence. 

Recognized for his work in curriculum development and course redesign and as a champion of diverse teaching methods, Tieleman takes a personalized approach to teaching, supporting the learning journey of each student.

The Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence acknowledge and provide systemwide recognition for consistently superior commitment to student learning and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence at the colleges and universities of Minnesota State.

When Diana Sanchez moved to the US from Ecuador, she was looking for a college that would support her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
